The Holocaust And Haaretz

Some newspapers tell some of the truth some of the time. Haaretz is one such - sometimes. Here are some of their articles. Their site gave 24 hits which is not a lot. The fact that the Jews have not paid their very own people sixty years later tells me that they have no intention of sharing the loot.

Holocaust Restitution Fund Spends 30 Million Shekels On Itself
QUOTE
The Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims Assets has burned through an operating budget of NIS 30 million in less than two years, but it is refusing to say just how much it has managed to turn over to victims and their heirs...........

As of the end of June, the company had located about NIS 750 million in assets. Meanwhile, in under two years it managed to burn through more than NIS 30 million. Most of the budget came from assets the company held in trust for their owners, with the treasury contributing a small amount..........

One person who has been waiting for her claim to go through is Edna Lahman, 93, of Haifa. Lahman has been waiting for months to receive the small sum her brother deposited in the Jerusalem branch of the Anglo-Palestine Bank (now Bank Leumi) in the 1930s. The NIS 3,000-NIS 4,000 has not arrived..........

"I am 93 and not in the best of health," she wrote in a letter to the company last month. "In the past year my ability to function has declined and I have a home health aide three times a week. I do not understand why you have dragged out this matter for so long. Are you waiting for me to die?" [ Hint: Too true - Editor ]

Are all Jews thieves? It gets to look like it but to be fair, they rob their own too.

Who Benefits From The Holocaust Victim's Money - Not Survivors Of Course
QUOTE
The Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims' Assets has two functions, according to the law. One is to locate assets belonging Holocaust victims and see that they are given to their heirs. The other is to assist survivors and groups supporting survivors with funds belonging to victims, who do not have heirs or whose heirs cannot be located..........

A request by the Holocaust Survivors Welfare Fund to help survivors in need with funds to eat, dress and go to the bathroom was rejected. In October, the fund petitioned the court against the company and the nine organizations slated to receive funding from it.

Bank Leumi Defrauded A Holocaust Victim
QUOTE
Michael Eisenbud was a 13-year-old schoolboy in Panevezys, Lithuania in 1936 when his father attended a Zionist doctors' conference in Palestine and opened an account at the Anglo-Palestine Bank. Dr. Chaim Ben Zion Eisenbud continued depositing funds into the account until World War II broke out............

In 1973 Eliezer Eisenbud immigrated to Israel and asked the bank by then Bank Leumi for the family's account. Michael immigrated in 1979, and the brothers have been attempting to release the funds for three decades. "The Bank Leumi officials were very polite," says Michael. "They said the money was transferred to the Custodian General. There we were told that due to the lira's devaluation the money was worth very little and wasn't even worth issuing an inheritance order for."..........  The committee passed the case on to the Company for Location and Restitution of Holocaust Victims Assets and in February the Eisenbuds received NIS 300,000 70 percent of the account's value, according to the company.
