Cardinal Pell, was the head of the Catholic Church in Australia. Now, in April 2019 he is in prison, having been convicted of Paedophile perversion. The matter is being appealed. A Jury should have convicted him if they believed the evidence beyond all reasonable doubt. Is that what happened? Almost certainly not. Memories of events decades later are not always true recollections. Things do get forgotten. Evidence given on oath can be tainted by personal involvement.
