This is not so much about politics IN Iran as the politics OF Israel, the bully of the Middle East and its puppet state, America. Zionist crazies hate the idea that anyone else can have nukes. They have hundreds but that is different. Jews play with a stacked deck. That is how they like it.
Iran And War
Jews want the Americans to invade Iran for them. The fact that Americans cannot win seems to be irrelevant to the Jews. The fact that the Americans will lose too much oil is the main reason why they have not chanced it.
Iran's Armed Forces
The Wiki's assessment says their army is large, their missiles are pretty good. They have what it takes to shut the Straits of Hormuz and to hit Israel too. Whether they could wipe out the Jews' nukes is another matter; probably not is my guess. They could annoy ordinary Jews big time, enough to make them wonder whether the crazies that run the place should be sacked.
Israeli Blackmail: You Must Do What We Can't, Because If You Don't We Will Attack Iran
QUOTE
The message Netanyahu, Goldberg and other panic-stricken Zionists are unintentionally sending out is that come the day Iran acquires a nuclear weapon, Israelis may as well back their bags and abandon the Jewish state. That probably won’t happen because in such an event Israel will “discover” what many Israelis no doubt already think: that retired General John Abizaid was right when he said that the United States and its allies can “live with” a nuclear-armed Iran. “Let’s face it — we lived with a nuclear Soviet Union, we’ve lived with a nuclear China, and we’re living with nuclear powers as well,” Abizaid told an audience at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Panic stricken, paranoid or vicious rogues? I settle for the latter option. They have not managed to bully American politicians enough to start World War III.
Iran Has Third Largest Population Of Jews - Allegedly [ 24 February 2012 ]
Power Panel is output from MOXNEWS.COM which does not rate a Wikipedia entry. It tells us that lots of Jews live in Iran which is true. Further that the following are opposed to invading Iran:-James Clapper - retired lieutenant general in the United States Air Force and is currently the Director of National Intelligence.
Ronald L. Burgess, Jr. - Lieutenant General in the US Army
Martin Dempsey - current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
Tamir Pardo - current Director of the Mossad
Efraim Halevy - He was the ninth director of Mossad and the 4th head of the Israeli ..
Dan Halutz - Israeli Air Force Lt. General and former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces and ...
Michael Hayden - retired United States Air Force four-star general and former Director of the National Security Agency and Director of the ...
LIEUTENANT GENERAL DAVID A. DEPTULA - no Wiki - first Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C.
Meir Dagan - former Israel Defense Forces officer and former Director of the Mossad ...It is not something you would believe from reading the Main Stream Media but that is controlled by Zionist crazies. Jews really do live in Iran. They quite like it. At all events they are refusing the bribes Jews are them offering to leave.
President Ahmadinaejad looks like a decent cove.
Iran has a large army, somewhat smaller than America's but theirs is not scattered round the globe. It might even be quite competent. Their main priority if the Jews attack directly or using their American puppets will be shutting the Straits of Hormuz. This will cut off some large percentage of the world's oil. American voters will be very upset if they have to pay $50 or more for a gallon of petrol. The Chinese will be very upset and in a position to do something about it, such as nuking the perpetrators. Taking over where Adolf is alleged to have left off would make the world a better place.
Iran has a lot missiles. The maximum range of the Shahab-3 is 1,200 miles. They can hit anywhere in Israel which is 700 miles at most. Having got the payload to the enemy, the critical issue is accuracy. Hitting a mile away might make them nervous. Hitting within ten feet will be much more effective. One view is that they can drop them within some 150 feet. The Israelis have underground installations hardened against just that kind of attack.
The reality is that the most effective weapon Iran has is its ability to block the world's oil. American commanders claim that they can keep the Straits open. American generals are fools or liars. They said they could win in Viet Nam, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan...... You get the idea?
Military Forces Of Iran
QUOTE
These forces total about 545,000 active personnel (not including the Police Force and the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution)....
The Iranian Military consists of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, and the Iranian Air Defense Force. The regular armed forces have an estimated 545,000 personnel: the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, 465,000 personnel; the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, 28,000 personnel, and the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, 52,000 airmen. Islamic Republic of Iran Air Defense Force is a branch split off from the IRIAF..........
Iran's military was called the Middle East's most powerful by General John Abizaid chief of United States Central Command (U.S. forces' commander in the region). However General Abizaid said he did not include the Israel Defense Forces as they did not fall into his area of operations. However, in reality Iran's military spending in 2010 were only $7.044bln, approximately 6 times less than Saudi Arabia [$42.917bln], and 2 times less than United Arab Emirates and Israel [and ~98 times less than the US]. Iran's military spending is a very modest 1.8% of GDP, compared to >11% for Saudi Arabia, 6.3% for Israel, and 4.7% for the US.

A big outfit. Have they got the right kit? Do they know how to use it? Have they got the moral fibre to do what it takes under fire? We might find out the hard way.
Iran's Missile Forces
QUOTE
On November 2, 2006, Iran fired unarmed missiles to begin 10 days of military simulations. Iranian state television reported "dozens of missiles were fired including Shahab-2 and Shahab-3 missiles. The missiles had ranges from 300 km to up to 2,000 km. Iranian experts have made some changes to Shahab-3 missiles installing cluster warheads in them with the capacity to carry 1,400 bombs." These launches come after some United States-led military exercises in the Persian Gulf on October 30, 2006, meant to train for blocking the transport of weapons of mass destruction. Iran is also believed to have started the development of an ICBM/IRBM missile project, known as Ghadr-110 with a range of 3000 km; the program is paralleled with advancement of a satellite launcher named IRIS.

The Wiki's missile article mentions a lesser mileage, a mere 1,200 miles but enough to hit Israel. That is the real issue.
Shahab-3
QUOTE
The Shahab-3B differs from the basic production variant. It has improvements to its guidance system and warhead, a few small changes on the missile body, and a new re-entry vehicle whose terminal guidance system and rocket-nozzle steering method are completely different from the Shahab-3A's spin-stabilized re-entry vehicle. The new re-entry vehicle uses a triconic aeroshell geometry (or 'baby bottle' design) which improves the overall lift to drag ratio for the re-entry vehicle. This allows greater range maneuverability which can result in better precision. The triconic design also reduces the overall size of the warhead from an estimated 1 metric ton (2,200 lb) to 700 kg (1,500 lb).
The rocket-nozzle control system allows the missile to change its trajectory several times during re-entry and even terminal phase, effectively preventing pre-calculated intercept points of radar systems - which is a method nearly all ABM systems use these days. As a high-speed ballistic missile and pre-mission fueling capability, the Shahab-3 has an extremely short launch/impact time ratio. This means that the INS/gyroscope guidance would also remain relatively accurate until impact (important, given the fact that the gyroscopes tend to become more inaccurate with longer flights). The CEP is estimated to be at 30–50 metres (98–160 ft) or less. However, the accuracy of the missile is largely speculative and cannot be confidently predicted for wartime situations.
These improvements would greatly increase the Shahab-3B's survivability against ABM systems such as Israel's Arrow 2 missile as well as being used for precision attacks against high value targets such as command, control and communications centres.

How many? How accurate? It is guess work. War is the only honest test. Finding out would be bad news.
Rioters In Iran Send A Message [ 5 January 2018 ]
QUOTE
As tens of thousands marched in the streets of Tehran on Wednesday in support of the regime, the head of the Revolutionary Guard Corps assured Iranians the “sedition” had been defeated. Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari is whistling past the graveyard. The protests that broke out a week ago and spread and became riots are a fire bell in the night for the Islamic Republic.

Jews in America, especially Zionist crazies have long been trying to get America to invade Iran for them. The result would be cutting off all Oil from the Arabian Gulf, which would cause major dissatisfaction and World War III. The Pentagon is not stupid enough to go along with it.
Jews Increase Efforts To Make Americans Invade Iran [ 19 December 2021 ]
QUOTE
As the US was finally in the process of trying to exit the disastrous, 20-year Afghan war in August, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett came to Washington D.C. to push Biden to increase US hostilities against Iran.Israeli insiders revealed ahead of Bennet’s White House visit that Israel planned to use the ‘humiliating surrender of the US to the Taliban’ to lead Biden to ‘flex US muscle toward Iran.’ Naftali Bennett’s mission in meeting with Biden was, they reported, to convince him that Iran ‘poses a tangible and significant threat to the entire world,’ and that the U.S. must take action against Iran.
Recently, Israel’s defense minister and the head of the Mossad visited Biden with what it claimed was “intelligence about Iranians’ uranium enrichment,” reminiscent of earlier claims about what turned out to be Iraq’s non-existent “weapons of mass destruction.”
On Dec. 2nd, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett phoned US Secretary of State Antony Blinken [ another Jew ] to pressure him on Iran. According to Israeli media the call was “long and tough.” Blinken, an Israel partisan who helped procure a quarter of a billion dollars for Israel during its 2014 bombing of Gaza, said he’d had “a very good” talk with Bennett, adding: “We have exactly the same strategic objectives.”
And just a few days ago Israel’s defense minister and head of the Mossad came to DC to once again pressure Biden officials on Iran. According to the Times of Israel, they’re pushing for the U.S. to take military action against Iran.
This is not new.
Donald Trump recently said that he had discovered early in his presidential tenure that Netanyahu was not interested in pursuing a peace deal; instead he was trying to “use him against Iran.”
Some other Republicans have also opposed wars for Israel. One of the most clear spoken was Illinois Congressman Paul Findley, who served in Congress for 22 years.............................
“The situation is highly dangerous. America has already paid a towering price for our subservience to Israel, and great additional burdens seem inevitable….
….All U.S. citizens must accept a measure of responsibility for Israel’s grip on America. Those of us who knew what was happening did not protest with sufficient force and clarity. Those who did not know should have taken their responsibility as citizens more seriously. They should have informed themselves.
The scene is likely to improve only if U.S. elected officials are criticized so forthrightly from home that they fear a constituent revolt more than they fear Israel’s lobby. This, of course, will not happen until the countryside benefits from a rigorous and edifying public debate about Israel’s role in our national life.
Pat Buchanan is another who has opposed such wars for many years.

Alison Weir of the organisation If Americans Knew writes at length but then her subject is important. America has just lost one pointless war, after 20 years in Afghanistan. Its High Command is grossly incompetent. Politicians are being manipulated by the Puppet Masters, by Zionist crazies. Be aware the prime minister until recently was Benjamin Netanyahu, a profoundly evil Jew & mass murderer, still on trial for thieving.
