Breaking The Silence

Breaking The Silence is about exposing the War Crimes of Jews in Palestine, in the Stolen Land. The Jews' army alleges that it goes in for Purity of Arms. It does not, it never did but Gideon Levy says that most Jews believe it. I say that I do not believe it either. The Wiki's piece reads as propaganda, something Jews are very good at.

To be fair this group does prove that there are Jews who tell the truth from time to time. Their  website is at http://www.breakingthesilence.org.il/. The Main Stream Media in the West keep very quiet about them.

Breaking The Silence ex Wiki
Breaking The Silence (BtS) (Hebrew: Shovrim Shtika) is an Israeli Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), located in a western section of Jerusalem, established by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers and veterans who collect and provide testimonies about their military service in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem since the Second Intifada, giving serving and discharged Israeli personnel and reservists a platform to confidentially describe their experience in the Israeli-occupied territories. J.J. Goldberg described it in The Jewish Daily Forward as a "left-wing soldiers' protest organization".[1] This profile, it has been argued, does not fit the variegated demographic or ideological composition of the group.[2]

The organization's stated mission is to 'break the silence' of IDF soldiers who return to civilian life in Israel and "discover the gap between the reality which they encountered in the [occupied] territories, and the silence which they encounter at home".[3][4] Since 2004, Breaking the Silence has run a testimonies collection project called "Soldiers Speak Out". They have collected several hundred testimonies from "those who have, during their service in the IDF, the Border Guard, and the Security Forces, played a role in the Occupied Territories". By publishing soldiers' accounts, Breaking the Silence hopes to "force Israeli society to address the reality which it created" and face the truth about "abuse towards Palestinians, looting, and destruction of property" that is familiar to soldiers.[5]

The organization was criticized for providing anonymous testimonies which are unverifiable and exploiting them for propaganda,[6] having a clear political agenda so it cannot be described as 'human rights organization'[7] and promoting Anti-Israeli lawfare.[8] Some senior figures in the Israel Defense and Security establishment have defended the organization. Amiram Levin has stated that 'Breaking the Silence strengthens the I.D.F. and its morality.'[9]

Purity of Arms ex Wiki
The code of purity of arms (Hebrew: Tohar HaNeshek) is one of the values stated [ claimed/alleged - delete to taste - Editor ] in the Israel Defense Forces' official doctrine of ethics, The Spirit of the IDF.

According to Rabbi Norman Solomon, the concepts of Havlaga and purity of arms arise out of the ethical and moral values stemming from the tradition of Israel, extrapolation from the Jewish Halakha, and the desire for moral approval and hence political support from the world community.[1] Despite doubts when confronted by indiscriminate terrorism, purity of arms remains the guiding rule for the Israeli forces.[1] These foundations have elicited a fair degree of consensus among Jews, both religious and secular.[1]

Others have challenged this image,[2][3] but according to Gideon Levy, the "majority of the Israelis is still deeply convinced that their army, the IDF, is the most moral army of the world, and nothing else".[4] A notable proponent of this image is Colonel Richard Kemp, a retired British army officer, who called the IDF the most moral army in the world on Israel's Channel 2 News.[5] The High Level Military Group, composed of military experts from Australia, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Italy, The United Kingdom, the United States, and Spain, released an assessment on Operation Protective Edge acknowledging Israel made "unprecedented efforts" to avoid civilian casualties exceeding international standards.[6]
