Electing a New People

How do you elect a new people? Simple enough. You import millions of Third World freeloaders to live on the dole, breed on the dole, demand superior rights on the dole. Of course it does mean being traitors but that does not seem to be a problem for Her Majesty's Government. They want cheap labour. Nor for Her Allegedly Loyal Opposition. Bribing Third World freeloaders to vote for them gets them the power they want.

Of course it helps if the Immigration is sold as a moral imperative; repaying our alleged debt to the blacks we gave liberty, decent government et cetera. Then using the Education industry to feed young minds anti-patriotic propaganda about Racism. When the whole ruling class is the enemy it is more difficult to counter.

Bertolt Brecht understood this. His satirical poem explains rather well.

At first Brecht supported the measures taken by the East German government against the Uprising of 1953 in East Germany, which included the use of Soviet military force. In a letter from the day of the uprising to SED First Secretary Walter Ulbricht, Brecht wrote that: "History will pay its respects to the revolutionary impatience of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany. The great discussion [exchange] with the masses about the speed of socialist construction will lead to a viewing and safeguarding of the socialist achievements. At this moment I must assure you of my allegiance to the Socialist Unity Party of Germany."

Brecht's subsequent commentary on those events, however, offered a different assessment—in one of the poems in the Elegies, "Die Lösung" (The Solution), Brecht writes:

After the uprising of the 17th of June
The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?
