March of the Living

March of the Living is a charity set up by Jews for Jews. That is the theory. The reality is rather different and rather uglier. The living of the title are the survivors real or alleged of the Holocaust®. Lots of money is involved. Money and Jews with sticky fingers are made for each other.

How much of the revenue gets to those survivors? If they are not Jews the answer is almost certainly nothing. This particular fraud was set up to benefit Jews who matter, as distinct from Jews and certainly not honest men. How much of it gets to Jews who claim that they are survivors? Not much given that a third of Holocaust survivors in Israel live in poverty.

 

This particular boondoggle was set up by Avraham Hirschson, the former finance minister currently [ 9 May 2007 ] under investigation for embezzlement. Police Grill Hirschson for Third Time sheds a little light on the business. Hirschson transferred its headquarters to the United States and arranged for a certain Curtis Hoxter to be appointed as a consultant to the project.

Hoxter received in excess of $700,000, allegedly for "fund raising" activities. However, it is clear that the bulk of the contributions were provided to the March of the Living by the Claims Conference and ICHEIC, the Holocaust-related insurance commission.

When asked by The Jewish Week and Globes why the March of the Living paid him $700,000, Hoxter replied that he did not have the records accessible and could not recollect why he received the money.

Hoxter, who paradoxically also represented German industrial groups and Swiss banks, was closely associated with Israel Singer [ a rabbi who was sacked for thieving - Editor ] , who arranged for him to be paid consultancy fees in excess of $200,000 per annum from the World Jewish Congress. These unauthorized payments were not disclosed by Singer to the WJC Executive and were terminated after the funding arrangement was exposed.

The payments to Hoxter from the March of the Living commenced approximately the same time that Singer was forced to stop the WJC payments.

Hoxter was also involved in an unconsummated draft memorandum of understanding with Singer to form a three-tiered partnership in a consultancy company in which Singer was to provide $2 million to qualify as a full partner. The third party was Israeli lawyer Zvi Barak, who collaborated closely with Singer on restitution activities and also served as his personal lawyer.

Barak was condemned by the New York attorney-general's office for refusing to cooperate in relation to the investigation of the $1.2 million which Singer moved out of the WJC to a custodial account under Barak's control. Barak was also a partner with Avraham Hirschson's son in a disastrous failed business venture.

Perhaps not all Jews are thieves. Perhaps it just as though they are all corrupt, murderers or whatever.

This is a roundabout way of saying that Jews plead poverty while making lots of money. They also claim that they are victims of naughty Nazis in order to make humungous amounts of tax free income. March of the Living has a virtue in this context. It is run by known thieves. March of Remembrance and Hope is a propaganda operation aimed at university students who are not Jews. Their stated aim is:-
To never again allow for the unchecked rise of the menace of anti-Semitism or any kind of racial discrimination directed by any individual or group in society against another to gain strength. Included in this goal is the teaching that all human beings are equal, precious and valued, and the diminution of the dignity of any member of the human family is a cardinal violation of all ethical teachings.
They do not say that Jews claim that the rest of us are not human or that they have no compunction about the mass murder of Palestinians, Armenians or other Untermenschen [ the Nazis' term for subhumans ]
