She was a nosey old cow who pestered two young women in Samoa about sexual goings on so they fed her a load of old tosh which she swallowed hook, line and sinker. They only found out that she was fool enough to believe them many years later in 1987 when they came into contact with civilization.In the mean time she had fed her story line to Franz Boas, another patter merchant of the same type and they used it to push an agenda. The author of Margaret Mead tries to make us believe that she wasn't an old fool that had been hoaxed. Read for yourself. Think for yourself. Decide for yourself.
