The Coronavirus Pandemic began in 2019; it is getting into its stride now, in March 2020. Deaths are currently in the thousands. They will continue to go up. Finding a cure is a major priority. Asking about the cause is another.

It all started in #Wuhan, a city in China, the home of the Wuhan Institute Of Virology. They are obviously experts on the Coronavirus; in fact they were the very first to produce answers. Was the Institute the cause of this pandemic? Did it escape? Did someone take a sample home?

The Americans say not. Do they know the answer? Pass. Are they telling the truth? The Chinese government does know and they are also denying it. Is this the kind of evidence to take seriously? A lot of people will think not. But  the Federation of American Scientists is taking an interest and putting their answers out there for the rest of us, on line, in the Coronavirus Project. Plagues have come and gone over the centuries. One such was the Black Death circa 1350, which wiped out a third or more Europeans. There have been others. This one will probably finish in months or a few years at worst. NB China withheld data on coronavirus from WHO, recordings reveal. People died as a result.

Unsubstantiated Theory That The COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus Was Made In lab Debunked By New Study   
Unsubstantiated theories about the COVID-19 novel coronavirus being created in a lab were fanned when a study (posted online and later retracted) implied that four parts of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, could have been engineered into the COVID-19 virus. 

On Friday, February 14th, a group of researchers published a paper that adds to the scientific evidence debunking the conspiracy theory. 

The researchers confirmed earlier scientific reports that the COVID-19 virus is most closely related (96% identical) to a coronavirus that was previously identified in bats. It further provided evidence for why parts of HIV-1 were not incorporated into the COVID-19 virus.

The researchers show that the COVID-19 virus most likely evolved from bat coronaviruses, and that it has not been engineered with 4 parts of HIV-1. 

First, three out of the four COVID-19 virus parts in question are found in three other coronaviruses that had been previously isolated from bats, suggesting an evolutionary linkage. 

Second, when these four DNA parts are compared to the DNA of other species, researchers found that these DNA parts are also found in the DNA of mammals, insects, bacteria, and other coronaviruses. That means these DNA elements are found throughout the evolutionary tree and are not unique to HIV-1. 

Currently scientists are working around the clock to determine which animal was the original host of COVID-19 and which mutations the virus obtained that enabled it to infect humans.

Crimson Contagion was a joint exercise conducted from January to August 2019, in which numerous national, state and local, private and public organizations in the US participated, in order to test the capacity of the federal government and twelve states to respond to a severe pandemic of influenza originating in China.

The simulation, which was conducted by the Department of Health and Human Services in a series of exercises that ran from January to August 2019, involved a scenario in which a group of about 30 tourists returning from China spread a novel influenza A respiratory virus in the United States, beginning in Chicago. In less than two months the virus had spread from a single index case (a 52 year-old man returning to Chicago) to infect 110 million Americans; 7.7 million patients would require hospitalization, and 586,000 people would die from the novel virus. The 70-page report issued at the conclusion of the exercise outlined the government's limited capacity to respond to a pandemic. States experienced "multiple challenges" requesting resources from the federal government "due to a lack of standardized, well-understood, and properly executed resource request processes," the report said. Federal agencies lacked the funds, coordination, and capacities to implement an effective response to the virus.[1][2][3]

The use of RNA in a vaccine has been the basis of substantial misinformation circulated via social media, wrongly claiming that the use of RNA alters a person's DNA, which in itself is a biologically impossible occurrence.[14]

If it is true that only East Asians are dying of, or even catching, Corona, that would be consistent with long-established race differences in the susceptibility to such viruses.......................

The Corona Virus is closely related to SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) [Coronavirus vs. SARS: Health experts on the key differences between the two outbreaks, by Sam Meredith, CNBC, January 28, 2020], of which there was a major outbreak in 2003, which also began in China in 2002.............

But essentially it can be said the SARS was an East Asian disease which, like Corona, can be traced to bats. SARS didn’t severely impact the rest of the world, despite people definitely catching it. Coronavirus Carrier In Italy Is Pakistani Who Spread It Around  [ 8 March 2020 ]

The migrant now faces up to 3 months in jail for failing to self-isolate under article 650 of the Italian penal code.

Boris Orders Shut Down As Plague Spreads [ 17 March 2020 ]

The situation is similar in Sweden, where asylum seekers will continue to be processed and allowed to stay in the country despite a global pandemic. Given that migrants already in Germany rioted and displayed ISIS flags when told their refugee camp had to be put in quarantine, one wonders whether newly arrived asylum seekers will obey lockdown rules.

As Breitbart highlights, attempts to enforce a quarantine in migrant-heavy areas of Paris are proving “impossible” because migrants just ignore the law and congregate in large crowds if confronted by police. Authorities cannot hand out fines to migrants due to fears of a violent “backlash.”

Nevertheless, buried deep in the news article the reporter offers this important nugget from the study, only after writing that migrants are less likely than people in their host countries to die of heart disease, cancer, respiratory diseases and other ills: “The exceptions are hepatitis, tuberculosis and HIV.” Last we checked those are deadly diseases and Judicial Watch has interviewed medical experts that confirm illegal immigrants do indeed pose a serious public health threat to the U.S. by bringing dangerous diseases into the country. This includes tuberculosis, dengue and Chikungunya. Just last month a prominent physician in a key border state warned that the caravan streaming north from Honduras will undoubtedly bring infectious diseases into the U.S. Among them are extremely drug resistant strands of tuberculosis and mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and chikungunya that are widespread in the region..............

Years ago, when Barack Obama let tens of thousands of illegal immigrant minors into the country, health experts warned about the serious hazards to the American public. It is not known if the monarch has been tested for coronavirus but she is on lockdown and not even close family members can see her. Her weekly meeting with the Prime Minister is being done by phone, rather than in person at Buckingham Palace, where a worker tested positive while the Queen was still in residence last week.

They designed it mainly as a tool for rural areas in developing nations, which have high levels of chronic respiratory issues but limited access to mechanical ventilators. Even then, though, they noted it could also serve an important role in the US in the event of a wide-scale pandemic like the one now unfolding.

At the time, the group estimated it would cost about $100, compared with tens of thousands of dollars for standard hospital versions.

The current team referenced those original designs but made additional efforts to ensure it would be easier for others to reliably make and use the device. The site notes that the new version is solid and metal framed.
